Catholic Home Care & Good Shepherd Hospice Welcomes New President
With the retirement of Mary Ellen Polit, RN, MS, president of Catholic Home Care and Good Shepherd Hospice, Kim Kranz, RN, MS, CHPCA, will lead the two agencies, effective June 17. Ms. Kranz has almost 30 years of experience in home care, hospice and palliative care. Her most recent roles were regional director of Penn Highlands Community Nurses and senior vice president of hospice and palliative care for the Allegheny Health Network. She holds a master’s degree in community health and administration from Pace University and a bachelor’s in nursing from Syracuse University. A certified hospice and palliative care administrator, she is a member of the Public Policy Committee for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
