Marianne Gillan, President & CEO of Good Shepherd Hospice, Receives Selinske Award
PORT JEFFERSON, NY (June 1, 2008) — In recognition for her leadership in the field of hospice and palliative care, Marianne Gillan, President and CEO of Good Shepherd Hospice—a member of Catholic Health Service of Long Island—was recently presented with the Selinske Founder’s Award, the highest recognition given to hospice professionals in the State of New York.
MARY F. BRACKEN AND LAWRENCE J. BRACKEN TO RECEIVE SPIRIT OF HOSPICE AWARD
PORT JEFFERSON, NY (May 23, 2008) — In recognition for their many years of support of Good Shepherd Hospice, Mrs. Mary F. Bracken and The Honorable Lawrence J. Bracken will be presented with the Spirit of Hospice Award at the Second Annual Brunch at the Home of a Friend fundraiser on Sunday, June 8, 2008, at The Bates House in Setauket.
HOME HEALTH AIDE TRAINING GRANT
Good Shepherd Hospice was awarded a $233,080 grant to provide Home Health Aides with end-of-life training over the next two years. (More)
