TITLE:
Director of Staff Development

The Director
of Staff Development is responsible for implementation
of programs to meet the educational needs of all Hospice
Interdisciplinary Team Members. Will participate in
the orientation and staff developmental programs of
the Agency. Will plan, develop and provide programs
regarding changes in policies, procedures, regulatory
requirements and accreditation standards through education.
Identifies educational needs of Hospice personnel,
recommends programs or other methods of education to
meet
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited
school of nursing required, Masters Degree required
Hospice experience and Certification in Hospice and
Palliative Nursing required Excellent written and oral
communication, conflict and problem resolution skills
Strong documentation, education, in-service, presentation
and business management skills required. A demonstrated
proficiency with health information technology Leadership
experience required. Ability to travel to multiple
sites to foster good working relationships throughout
the Catholic Healthcare System and to referral sources.
